Materials
The jacket is made from deadstock Moncler jeans that were saved from near incineration. It takes 3 pairs of jeans to cut one jacket. Each jean was deconstructed one stitch at a time to maximize the fabric yield and preserve the beautiful selvage id. Due to the nature of repurposed materials, each jacket is unique. Look closely to find ghost pockets, a shadow where the back pocket was placed in the fabrics original jean form.
Each Label is screen printed in house on dead stock cotton sourced from the (now closed) Rhode Island Recycling Center. The copper buttons from Japan are backed with a leather washer cut from scrap Vanson Leathers.
